Hi - I am really glad I found your blog - and am glad to see it is over for you. I am a young mom too, and got MRSA in my nose last summer. I thought it was just weird zits in my nose from plucking nose hairs! lol but then a doc did a culture and found out it was MRSA. It would clear up but then come back. I am a professional and in good health otherwise. Anyway, just yesterday I woke up with a puffy, sore lip and today there is a sore and I know it's MRSA because I know how it feels and this isn't a cold sore. I'm terrified .... it's one thing to have it inside your nose (or under your arm in your case) but to have it on your face ... where it's visible .... I'm really scared that it's going to spread. I guess I should go to the doctor again ... right now I'm trying some natural remedies ... MMS and Bentonite Clay. I'll see how it is in the morning. I hope I don't have to sit in meetings tomorrow with a giant puss filled lip. Worst part is I can't kiss my husband or 2 year old. Well, just wanted to say hi and that I sure am glad you made it through your bout with it on your lip ... this stuff is nasty, huh? Take care .....
Hello,
It is nasty! I hope you have come through it ok. I know I felt horrible when it was on my lip and oh the pain! I am sorry you are going through it. I took collodial silver but I am not sure it did any good. Let me know!
my lip looked swollen like yours in the photos. i applied sliced garlic to it to fight the infection. it burns like absolute hell for a minute, but the garlic wins the battle outright. my lip started healing and feeling better right away.
follow up with baby oil (aloe vera & vitamin e); it helps to keep your lips safely moisturized and prevents painful dryness/cracking.
